Having strong
hold of Samajwadi's, Varasivni of Balaghat district, the
assembly area is among those election areas in which BJP has
not stepped in. Leaders like K.D Deshmukh of Samajwadi,
Varasivni being his elected area was under Congress only
four times. In this Than Singh Bisen won three times. Rest
six times Samajwadi was the winner. K.D Deshmukh was four
times MLA here. Development issue are raised in the
elections but no impact of this is on the result. Not much
effect of caste equation is seen. BJP is somehow trying to
make it's stand here. |
