Suhagpur,
in Shadol district became famous during 2000's by election
when Kinnar Shabnam Mausi went to assembly. This area is the
elected area of Former Chief Minister of Vindhyapradesh
Shambhunath Shukla and main Congress leader as well as
former Governor of Gujrat Late Krishnapal Singh. Congress is
having a strong hold on this area. Except 1993 election, in
all other elections Congress won. After Shambhunath Shukla,
Krishnapal Singh became the Congress candidate from here and
won six times. Only once he was defeated. To save the seat
all the Kinnars of the state are getting united. |
