backward regarding development, Patharia assembly area is
reserved for the scheduled caste. In this area any of the
party failed to make a hold. Mostly the competition is
between Congress and BJP only. In early election BJP won by
two hundred votes. Due to this also the nature of the people
of Patharia is difficult to guess. The pace of development
is slow and still this matter is not raised in the
elections. During elections, the victory of the candidates
depends on his contacts and the effective way of
communicating with the voters. The anger of lay voters do
have an impact on the elections. |
