Maharajpur, one and only
reserved assembly seat of Chatarpur district is
considered to have BJP'S strong hold. Up till now out of
ten elections, BJP has won six times.
Here Brahmins and Vashya voters are in good numbers but
their votes are distributed between Congress and BJP. On
issue of development no votes are asked nor given due
importance by the voters. BJP people escape themselves
by saying that their party is not in power, that's why
not much work is done. But even Congress is not paying
attention towards this matter. Candidates personal
contacts and image leaves an impact on the elections. |
