Khargpur, Tikamgarh District's one and only reserved assembly seat was formed
in 1967. Earlies it used to be Lidhora Assembly area. In earlier time there was
great impact of Samajwadi Party , but this gradually changed. Now instead of
Samajwadi Party, BJP's impact is found more. Almost in all elections main
competition is between Congress and BJP. In early three elections, BJP was the
winner. Congress changed it's candidates three times but afailed to achieve
success. In elections, local area matter do have some impact but not overall. In
some areas, candidates personal reoutation do affect the result of the election. |
