Digvijay Singh, non- MLA was sent to the assembly by this area only. The nature of this place was never the same. Up till now out of ten main and one sub-election Congres won six times. Chachaura is having around thirty percent majority of Meena class votes. Besides this most of the time from here candidate not belonging to Meena class is elected. Shivnarayan Meena for the first tim e candidate elected from the Meena class in 1993 left the seat for Digvijay Singh after some time. Then again in 1998 he got elected and now is the member of State Cabinet. Impact of Radhogarh Empire is seen more.
